Why is Resun filter almost not sucking up water(little no output)?
Water level is good.
I filled the HOB with water.
I removed the filter media in case it's the problem.
It used to work well, not until I powered it off for a few hours.
The filter is about 3 months old.
The water flow know does little to nothing to the flow

inclinalo para adelante!
Water level not good. Go up.
Quick troubleshooting:
1. Check inlet and water pathway for any obstructions
2. Ensure that you have adequate voltage supply
3. (A method that works well but is a bit of a shit show) Manual priming by switching the filter on and off repeatedly for a few seconds to give it a kind of jump start.
4. Last option: Disassemble and check if the impeller is working fine
Impeller probably clogged. Disconnect from power and rinse to remove detritus, algae, etc. before reconnecting.
I’d strip the whole thing apart down to the impeller and use a flexible brush to clean inside the intake tube to make sure there’s nothing jammed in there. Otherwise like the other person said to unplug it and plug back in a bunch. Otherwise might be toast and time for a new one.
Edit: the water level does look pretty low, wonder if the union between the two intake pipes is not totally sealed and letting air in.
some models have a water volume control
Either the intake is blocked or the impeller is. Definitely on the intake side and not the outflow side. If it was blocked on the outflow side your filter, the water level would be higher inside. This happens to me if I don’t clean the pre-filter sponge over the intake every week.
Last time I had an issue like this, it was mineral scale build up around the impeller. Had to soak in some vinegar and use a firm tooth brush to get it off without damaging it.
