I did a 50% water change and couple weeks ago because the walls started growing algea and I had to scrape it with a blade. Its gotten green again and looks more green in person. Is this okay and healthy for the fish? Am I forced to introduce snails to my betta tank? If I were to clean it do its completely empty out everything a scrub everything? (Obv leaving a couple gallons of the fish water so its not a 100% water change) if i were to do this what do I do about the substrate? They are separated i guess its sand, gravel, and soil. Am I forced to mix all 3 together?

Lower your light cycle and feed less, maybe get a few nerite snails. Also, real plants.
