my betta has been changing color from blue to more red over time. Not sure if this is normal color change or if he’s stressed 🤔

This is normal and probably a sign of health rather than stress. I have seen lots of single color bettas explode with color when they are in healthier environments than the fish shop. Might also be an age thing… expression of more colors as they move from juvenile into adulthood? Someone who knows more than I do cam confirm or deny.

Nothing to worry about, some bettas just change color overtime 🙂

I have seen stressed bettas get dark vertical bars on their body when stressed. I have bought some like that in box store cups. The bars faded in good environment
