do you have a preferred “all in one” liquid fertilizer? i like seachem but i dont want to have to do a water test to see which of the 7-10 products i need to use. i just want something that covers all my bases and is easy to remember

Just the end and that is a fish with a swim bladder problem. It is not a "resty" fish.

Difference between 'aquatic compost' > Pond Soil compared to Garden Soil is that Pond Soil has more clay and less bigger organics which would float up in the watercolumn.
Gardensoil sometimes also has more sand, bigger pieces of wood and bark.
Sometimes also Perlite
Which would make the water a mess.
Nutrients isnt the key difference.

If you use regular compost or soil make damn sure it doesn't have those little white pieces in it! I had to pick them out of plants and off the surface for years! It was constant headache.

I'd like to see you try one of the more stylized tanks with the intentional "sand pathway" through the middle. Almost like you're looking at a forest from a drone's perspective. Something more intentional.

Bit of a mood kill but; I’ve been going through hell recently and have been bed ridden due to coming off of medication that caused horrible reactions for me. You two have made this significantly easier for me. As well as given me a reminders of things I love, like building aqua scapes and caring for the environment and animals we put into it. MD Have you considered trying any powdered forms of nutrifying bacteria? I heard they work a lot better than the bottled nutrifying bacteria because they don't expire unlike the liquid forms that die from just sitting on the shelf at the store.
