My brother got me a pole for Christmas so I thought I’d give it a go today. I got some nightcrawlers and whatever the hell these are because they were cheap. Haven’t got a nibble with either but oh well, the beer drinking is still fun.
Is there a specific use for these?

Genraly best bet is a small jighead and use it for panfishing or maybe trout depending on the color and area

1/8 oz. jig head is great for walleye in the river.
Crappie. Use a 1/16 or 1/32 oz jighead.
catches anything that moves when slowly retrieved on a jighead. Try a 1/16-1/8 ounce jighead or around 1.5-3.5 grams. A jighead is basically a hook with a ball of lead on the front, you can search s9me videos on how to rig it.
Those in white would catch most species.
