My betta Fish (M, 1 year old) started growing these bumps, I've tried for very long a lot of medicine but I realised it's just tumors and I can't do anything about it
He is still eating daily, sometimes he still gets out to swim, but lately he's mostly sleeping in his house
i don't know for how much longer he's gonna survive like that, but I want to make sure I take good care of him
I'd gladly take any advice to make his life a little better

oh man, this is heartbreaking but you’re being such a good fish parent. I had a betta develop tumors like this a few years back and it’s so hard to watch.
since he’s still eating that’s actually a really good sign. the fact that he’s resting more makes sense with those growths putting pressure on him. from your photos it looks like he’s got a nice hiding spot which is perfect.
keep his water extra clean with frequent small water changes, maybe every other day instead of weekly. warm water around 78-80F will help him feel more comfortable too. I started feeding my guy smaller meals more often when he got sick like this, seemed easier for him to manage.
honestly the best thing you can do is just keep him comfortable and watch for signs he’s really struggling. as long as he’s eating and responding to you, he’s probably not in terrible pain. you’ll know when it’s time.
