Want to replace treble hooks to single hooks for saltwater fishing. Why size and how?
I am fishing for striped bass, flounder, weakfish, and anything else that bites those in Connecticut shore fishing.
What size should I get and how do I replace them?
Thank you for any help!

I did this last year where I made every hook an inline singles then decided to only make the rear a single and crush down the barbs on the treble hooks. Saw a video that showed how the inline singles on the front hook doesn’t allow for the hook to catch against the body and could reduce hook ups. When the treble is hit by a fish it can go up against the body while the single has more give. Just my 2 cents.

Prepare to lose more fish and have your hookup ratio decrease dramatically 😉
