Just bought my first euro rod and went out today to use it, targeted this rainbow for a good while had him eat once and missed it then eat again and bring him home! (Stocked fish ofc)

Haha, something similar happened to me.
I went out testing euro nymphing for the first time and used my 5wt with a SA shorty.
Caught a 21 inch brown, which are really rare in my local river. Not only that, but it was stocked. That meant it had to travel miles and miles of hard terrain to get there. What a fish. Almost as cool as a wild brown.

Euro nymphing will do that! Its awesome haha
