Found this classic Zebco 33 Spincast reel and I’m trying to figure out how old it is. I think 80s.

Look for the production date ON the reel…
Many Zebco 33 reels—including vintage models and specific iterations like the “Rhino Tough” (1989) or the 1993-1996 “Classic” versions—often feature a production date or date code stamped on them.
Where to Find the Date:
On the Reel Foot: The most common location is stamped on the mounting foot (the metal piece that attaches the reel to the rod).
On the Rear Cover: Some models have a year or a date code stamped or printed on the back cover.
Identifying Dates & Types:
1980s-90s Models: Often have stamped numbers representing the year of manufacture (e.g., “89” for 1989, or a date code indicating 1993–1996).
Vintage Models (pre-1970s): Early 1950s models may not have a clear, easy-to-read date stamp but can be identified by design features like the black or chrome plating, or by the “Zero Hour Bomb Company” branding.
“Rhino Tough” or “Straight Line”: Many of these specific branded 33s are from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
Later Models (China): Newer models often feature the date of production printed on the box or a small sticker, rather than stamped on the foot.

My first reel was bought around 93-94 and looked exactly like that. Dunno if that helps but.
