It was in storage when we moved I just found it and it was unfortunately broken. I’m guessing it can be repaired but idk how and when I try searching for an answer it just comes up with different issues for other types of handles

Looks like it would be a tough repair given the pressure, stress on reeling in.
With it being broken off like that and not just falling apart, I would suggest probably getting a new one. I can’t think of anything that would be able to hold that in place, not break under pressure of a heavy fish, and allow the handle to still rotate.
Super glue works if there’s no missing fragments. Did the same on mine and works fine since.
On lower end (cheap) reels just toss it in the garbage. On expensive reels there are replacement parts available directly from the manufacturer.
There doesn’t seem to be much left on the one side. You could try drilling a hole into both pieces, put a finishing nail inside a gluing it together.
If there is a sentimental attachment or if it’s winter and I’m looking for something to do, I would play around with it. More than likely I’d be looking for a sale to get a new one.
Find the manufacturers parts list and order a new part. It’s usually pretty cheap.
So there is a metal pin that holds that handle assembly on on the side it broke off of and you can see it in the picture, on the opposite side you can unscrew it and pull out the whole piece and replace that. Or remove it from the reel, tap the pin out, wrap it with screen material, then JB weld it back together. But just replacing the handle should be easiest. Check EBay for fishing reel handles
