Nice fish, but I can’t stop looking at the positioning of that reel lol. The eyelets and reel should be down. You can always move the handle to the other side of the reel

I normally fish with 4 rods ( not at one time ) … I use lures on bait casters . I freeline live bait on spinning rods . .
This was on light action rod with 10lb test…
It’s my luck , in December I caught 25lb flathead on the same rod rod with a size 4 circle hook
