Betta Fish: New Copper Betta

Deciding if hydra and ramshorns are edible lol.

Little guy I rescued from Petco! He had such a bad case of swim bladder and was so pale I couldn’t even tell what color he was. I thought he had a spine deformity when I first saw him but turns out he was probably just freezing and clamped up. It’s been two weeks now in my 3 gallon scud tank (waiting for his 10 gallon now to finish cycling) and he’s doing so much better.

He’s a little spoiled from eating live food he completely refuses flakes now lol. I’ve been giving him bloodworms since he decimated my scuds but he’s curious to what else could possibly be on the menu in his little ecosystem. Love him already.
