Any other good contenders for the same price?


I’m looking for an 8wt, i’m intermediate at best. looking specifically more towards a fast action but i think a medium-fast will be beneficial to me in the long run. any other kits or combo deals that are better or similiar to this for around the same price? any help will be greatly appreciated

    I owned this combo for a bit and still own the 9wt combo. The rod felt on the slower side of medium-fast to me but I was using it with an Outbound Short line so your mileage may vary. I think it’s an amazing deal for the price – it’s basically a free rod.

    TFO Black Label with the NTR Reel. Both on Sierra. The Reel is technically only rated for freshwater but the drag system is sealed. I use mine in saltwater and like all equipment, rinse it after use. Never had a problem. It’s an excellent combo for $160.
