I’ve seen quite a few posts here lately with people breaking their jaws just to get a photo. It also makes the fish look less impressive, in my opinion, to hold it in that way. If I’m wrong, please correct me but this is how I was taught.

That’s the right way, another way to get a better photo and added support is to put your phone down and hold the fish horizontally with one hand holding the jaw and other holding its anal fin area. Makes it seem bigger but also a cooler photo too.
Harder if ur the fish
