This is my "crowntail female betta" that I got on clearance in pet supplies plus. She was a whole $3.98. I fell in love with her & my boyfriend (who'd been talking about how much he wanted an aquarium a looooot lately) went headfirst into making a home for her.
She was the saddest (super terrible pics at end) nearly void of any color, but had such a hopeful, sweet disposition. She's always been curious about us from the moment we saw her in that sad betta display.
She is now Queen of her home.
Likes:
-frozen (thawed) shrimp/bloodworms
-to be in said cloud of shrimp/bloodworms
-to say good morning when we turn on the light in the morning
-her friends
Dislikes:
-not much tbh, she's such a sweet girl

That’s not a betta, it’s a meatball!
She’s really pretty, I’m pretty new to the hobby and haven’t come across a female crowntail before! So pretty!
