  1. Since its on top it has no real pressure on the glass. I wouldn’t be concerned if its not all the way through, looks like a scratch

Are you sure that’s not silicone, it’s wrapping around the corner? Try to scratch it off.

That looks like a scratch at best. Definitely double check that, if you can see it on the other side and all.

Id do what you can to put that in a super safe spot to minimize your chance of accidentally turning it into a real break.

  4. Looks like a scratch instead of a crack to me — Glass almost never “cracks” part-way through a pane like that.

  5. i wouldn’t worry about it, especially because it’s so near the top of the tank.

  6. It’s risky to keep using the tank even if the crack doesn’t go all the way through.

Water pressure can widen it suddenly and cause a full break flooding your space and stressing or killing your fish.

Keeping the water level a bit below the crack reduces pressure on the damaged spot and may buy you a short time but it’s not a safe long term fix.

Move your fish to a temporary container or spare tank right away then replace the 13.3 gallon aquarium. Better safe than sorry with live animals.
