Penn reel found in my dad’s garage. Worth anything?
Does this have any value at all? It’s in pretty rough shape, and I can’t tell what year or model of Penn Senator it is. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Those engraved brass side plates are definitely worth something if cleaned and restored CORRECTLY very easy to strip the fine details off of them. Look into the process lots of great videos available, or send it out to be restored, not worth much for using but collector or decoration. Shadow box with a photo of your father and a good catch of his would be great.

Despite the previous response the general answer is that this is a classic but not it’s not worth much. Every crusty charter boat in Oregon used these as their go to. There are thousands. They are bulletproof but value wise not worth much.
