Really disappointed in losing this fish yesterday. I sight fished, landed a good cast, just couldn’t secure it.

Does putting the juice on the lure really help? I always thought it must just immediately wash off

Man. I love fishing, but in conditions like that, I could leave my rods at home and still be the happiest man on earth. Getting to wet a line is just the cherry on top.

Beautiful spot. Some unsolicited advice (take it or leave it)… try applying constant and even pressure on the fish. It’s exciting to hook up, I get it, but the herky-jerky rod movements will result in more lost fish. Try trusting your reel and the flex in your rod a bit more.
