Bank flipped a decent size largemouth yesterday and turned my 5’6” Light rod to a 4’6” rod, still caught another dink with the broken rod. Pretty rookie mistake I know and already replaced with a med-light rod, but got two questions for the vets out there.
1: Any chance of getting a replacement tip for it?
It’s a two piece rod from bass pro is there any way they sell just the tip piece?
2: Is there any use for a small rod? It still has enough eyelets to use, but I’m curious what situations it would be useful to have such a short, maybe ice fishing?

Definitely still useable
Which rod is it?! How did it break from flipping?!
It’s worth taking it to bass pro to see what they can do. I fish saltwater and those rods become my sabiki rig, crab snare, or worst case a tide pool poker.
Best fish I ever caught was with a broken rod.
Honestly, garbage. It’ll never have the feel or sensitivity it originally had.
