Last weekend I ordered a "sidescan x" transducer mount from yakhobby for a Slayer LTE. It arrived on Friday and I installed it. (Pic 2)
The mount was far too high and produced a ton of ghosting while using side scan, so I dropped them a Facebook message.
Saturday I got a reply and we chatted back and forth and decided that an extra drop built into the mount would be the best remedy. (Pic 1)
Today I received the tracking number for the new mount, which is also available on their website as .850" drop if you need to order one. (Pic 3)
Fwiw, the original .250" drop is the correct one to buy if you are only using downscan as it will protect the transducer more.
Anyway, great service from yakhobby!
