I was looking at my tank today and noticed that I hadnt been able to see more than 1 of my loaches all day today or yesterday, then I also noticed that the inlet for my canister filter was also fallen off. (its in the back corner behind a rock)
So as one does at 9pm I took apart my filter thinking theres no possible way
Turns out there was a possible way and 2 of my loaches were worning around the bottom of my canister filter completely unbothered and honestly seeming more upset about the intrusion
(theres currently a filter sock on the inlet as I'm changing tanks next weekend)

I’ve found shrimp alive and happy in my canister filter 3 months after I changed the tank over from a shrimp tank to a cichlid tank
