They burrow, there’s a good chance they’ve buried themselves in your substrate

They’re the worst because they lay all those eggs and they can’t even hatch in fresh water 😔

Somehow even with enough algae in different forms, they all always died after weeks. So I gave up on them. I keep a few bladder snails and the annoying trumpet snails. Less feeding helps keeping them in check.

I hadn’t seen mine in three weeks and then it spent like three days out and about in the tank and gone again lol

And he just happens to leave snail eggs there? No, he orchestrated it! Ohhh not our Nerite, not our previous Nerite! Couldn’t keep his mouth off the driftwood. Petco should’ve stopped him when they had a chance! And you, you have to stop him…you…

Got three. Two died. One is thriving.
