Not a secret by any means so Clear Creek in Golden, CO. No big fish obviously, but was just fishing after lunch with a friend. Sorry you’re bad at fishing bro! And pretty obnoxious as well. 9 in a couple hours yesterday and a few that popped off.

I was fishing a tiny brook for… brook trout lol.
A person passed by and asked if there’s even fish in there. I said “Oh yeah, some brookies that get about this big on average.”
Dude was suprised and only thought there were minnows in there, but had lived around there most of his life.

Gotta love the front range locals. Nobody knows anything about the natural environment they live in. Like how shocked people are when mountain lions, moose, and bears come into town
I had someone tell me “your lead fly is too big” on the Dream last week (Beadhead Ribbed Stonefly, size 14). I already had eight consecutive eats on that fly.
I say the same thing to people as a joke meaning I’ve been skunked so far
