Is it worth it to get a blackpak pro or a blackpak in general? I typically take about 4 rods with me and have two rod holders on the back of my crescent LT. I have just about everything for this Yak aside from the blackpak but just not sure if it’s actually worth it.

It’s nice for rod storage, if you are planning on bringing enough tackle to target multiple species, or don’t have “watertight” storage elsewhere on your kayak.
I also have my measuring board on mine, in addition to an emergency kit with first aid, tools and parts in there.
I might get one if i get a good deal on facebook marketplace.. Right now i have a black milk crate i got from Academy for $10, i zip tied rod holders from Walmart that were $3 each. Works perfect
With the shortstak on top, I was able to consolidate the battery box into the blackpak+all the tackle I had before+add two more rod holders. Well worth the money.
