Didn’t think to pull up the scale!

Ventro lateral line is not there tho? (So I think it’s just lmb)

Can some fish expert confirmed?

Honestly the easiest way to differentiate is looking at their closed jaw. If the jaw extends past the eye it’s a largie. Color variations on both are so wide it’s a lout tougher to distinguish that way. Another good way is the notch between the dorsal fins, the spot will have a shallow notch while the lmb will have a deeper notch that makes it almost look like 2 separate fins.

But, based on the lateral line being solid on the tail, and from this angle the mouth appears to be equal, not past the eye, that is a spotted!
