This is doing to be a riot to use. After polishing the bushings, inside the the line guide, and running 2 grades of llama hair brushes with metal polish over the gears, we have one fast knuckle buster. Gears, bushings, spool shaft ends, and driveshaft are all lubed with TSI 321. I'm going to back fill it with Cortland Micron 20lb and top it off with some Seaguar Lure Edition X8 24lb. My plan is to run it on a 5'4" 4-8lb moderate taper fiberglass rod for small cranks and weightless soft plastic. These Langley 330s were one of the only baitcast reels capable of sub 1/4 oz when they released 78 years ago, with zero bearings at that.
