I’ve been fishing this spot for the last week or so, fishing different subsections on the same body of water using some chicken gizzards soaked in Koolaid but I’ve yet to catch anything, any pointers?

  1. Try different baits. Catfish aren’t picky but sometimes diversifying bait can help. Hot dogs, chicken livers, cut bait, etc.

  2. It’s cheating a bit, but save your leftover food (even if it’s rotten) and habitually throw it into the spot that you want them to be when you fish

I get best results using cut bluegill. Do you know where the holes are at or deeper water?

I had great luck with Walmart brand chipotle flavored small tortillas, makes no sense but the cats in my area love them.

  5. Time on the water is key for catfishing. It can be slow, but some nights the fish are moving and eating. Be there on those nights.

Wait for water temps to increase. Cats become more active in warmer water and also at night.
