Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who jumped into the discussion on my last post
I genuinely didn’t expect it to take off the way it did, but reading through the comments has been absolutely brilliant.
Some of you lot are hilarious — I was genuinely laughing scrolling through them 🤣
Seeing you guys from the states baffled by a cornish pasty cracked me up and cheered me up after a crap week at work.
There were loads of great suggestions in there, and I’ll definitely have to give some of them a go on future trips.
A few of them sounded surprisingly good… and a few sounded like they would have enough sodium and cholesterol to take out a blue whale!🤣
Honestly, the Fishing communities here on Reddit are class.
The banter, the ideas, and the general fishing chat is exactly why I enjoy posting here.
If any of you fancy it, you’d be more than welcome to come over and check out my YT channel, where we chat all things fishing and the usual shenanigans that go with it when you’re out and about enjoying the best hobby there is!
if you are interested, i have a link in my reddit profile to my channel page.
You’ve actually given me a bit of inspiration for some future videos too!
I’m thinking on the next trip I might try recreating some of these suggested fishing lunches and do a bank-side taste test and review from around the world 🤣
So I need a vote from you lot for the next trip lunch to ease into this ( and give me a heads up so I can hit the gym in advance lol )
1 – PB & J sandwich
2 – Saltine crackers, cheese, and deli sausage
3 – Bacon manwhich and cup of tea
Let me know what you reckon!
Thanks again guys — really appreciate it.
Tight lines!
