Betta Fish: Best office buddy ever. RIP Saul.

On April 1st, my buddy passed away. He was always on or right beside my desk. He was with me through major career defining moments, through my son's eye cancer diagnosis and eye removal

surgery.

Saul was about 3 years old, and last year in March he almost died. I set up a hospital tank, and by November he was fully recovered.

Last week he was hardly eating and seemed exhausted. After trying to get him to eat, I noticed he was having buoyancy issues again. But he seemed, not well. Fins looked poor, color was fading.

I put him in a hospital set up trying to see if I could bring him back like I did last year, but today after coming home from the hospital, he had passed away sometime between 10:15 and 13:10

I'll miss him chilling with me, and I hope that if there's every someone who's moving out of Japan and needs to re-home a fish, I can take 'em in.
