I saw these being used at a local aquarium shop and was wondering if they’re accurate and work? If not any other recommendations? I would still do other tests but would these also be helpful for a quick visual?

Nope. I just stick with my API Master Fresh Water kit. “A quick visual” is only useful if it’s accurate and reliable, which these are notorious for not being.
No, I’ve tried them both and they’re really not accurate
