This is my first time using Reddit so idk what I’m doing but anyways I was looking at my aquarium when I saw this little dude and I was really confused since I haven’t added any snail or fish’s in my talk so could anybody tell me what this is and what I should

do?

  1. It’s a bladder snail. A common hitchhiker on plants.
    They are a good cleanup crew for leftover food if you want to keep them. If you don’t want snails remove it while you can. They will multiply like crazy

    Although your pics aren’t the best, it looks like it’s just a bladder snail. Probably hitched a ride on some plants you bought.

    As to what to do; nothing really, they’re not harmful, and will help control any algae growth. They can multiply very quickly, so watch for that.

    Bladder snail. You should say, “Hi!” and continue to enjoy his presence in your tank.
