Do you guys think this would improve or disprove the bite ratio?
On one hand it's pink and it's an eye, on the other, it's some extra clutter.
What do you guys think? I mainly added it to prevent the small swivel from going inside of the rod guide

Hard to say, but my fisheries biology PhD brother told me to lose the swivel entirely to get more bites, and he was definitely on to something there.

I have two trains of thought here.
One is to go ahead and try stuff, have fun.
The other thought is keep it simple. There are classic rigs that are tried and true for a reason. You’re getting real fancy before you even have a hook on lol
