I got my beta today! He's a teenager by the looks of it,maybe 2-3 cm and also his fins are not that big!
I put a heater in(26*C) and also an air filter got him two types of food(universal food because my local store had nothing else and supplemantary food for tropical fish).
He seems very happy! He's swimming around a lot and going up for air then hiding behing the plastic plant and rock (local store didn't have any live plants).
Before adding him I let him settle and it looks like it's thriving!
Is his tank too empty is my question?

I would actually remove those plastic plants asap (their edges are like razorblades to bettas delicate fins) and put in some real plants and driftwood if possible. Or at the very least silk plants instead 🙂
Have you cycled your tank btw? Very important!
