I’ve just gotten my new betta Onyx and he’s so beautiful. Just wondering if his set up is okay? Hes in a 49L tank.
I cycled the tank, I have a heater set to 26 degrees Celsius and a slow flow filter. I also set up a little leaf hammock for him sit on. Do you think I need more live plants?
He seems happy exploring around in the plants and in the hide away and he ate a pebble off of my finger which was cool.
Just want what is best for my baby. Any advice is welcome 🙂

With live plants the more the merrier but i like your set up it’s not over whelming but it’s also just right, i’m a big fan of anubias so if you was gonna add anymore plants that would be my go to, and then you could just glue it on the driftwood in the back. Awesome!
Stunning! And you could always have more plants hehe theres never too many. Id personally get Jungle Val to fill the back up really nice while also taking either black paint or sticky vinyl and put it of the back outside tank. I like doing blacking my tanks out as it provides comfort to the fish and helps block of the cords being in view, whilst also helping it not look so bland. Personal preference though!
