I don't know about everyone else, but I love it when other fishermen elect to leave tackle and lure behind because they are no longer good.
I found a Whopper Plopper 90 that just needs new O-rings and hooks. I have accumulated quite the collection the past few seasons, which one or two does need some TLC before going back into the water. 😄

Not to mention you’re cleaning up the area. I almost always leave with a big ball of neglected fishing line. It pisses me off but it feels good to clean it up.
I’ve found LOTS of free lures this way. Always wonder what the circumstances are that cause guys to not retrieve $5-$20 lures.
