Those frog-colored jitterbugs really work (I didn’t believe it either!!). I just tossed it in the kind of place I expected bass were foraging regularly on small frogs (weedy, shallow areas with enough matting to support small hoppers) and got a furious hit from a bass who seemed very surprised when hooked.

Wish I had time to measure it!! Can anyone eyeball it? the j-bug is two inches for scale.
