After Zephyr passed away yesterday (some of you might have remembered my post) I couldn’t stand the empty tank so I went to Pet Supplies Plus.
Of all the bettas there, one was struggling to swim and kept floating onto his side. Probably from being in a cup of dirty water for so long. I decided to take him home.
I decided to put him in my tank right away, rather than wait to acclimate him as it was an emergency at that point. He sorta swam and sorta floated his way to the heater where he stayed and was breathing heavily. I took a couple of quick pictures and videos and that’s when I noticed that he’s missing his right eye. Poor guy. Then I shut the tank lights off for the night and decided to wait to feed him until the morning.
Anyways. Today’s the second day and what a difference a night makes! He’s now swimming beautifully and looks much healthier and happier!
