I keep seeing posts about how people struggle to breed their corys and I'm out here trying to get them to stop! They live with angels how are they this successful! They are peppered Cory and some have the genes for longfin, which was a fun surprise!

They’re not hard to breed, they’re notoriously known as one of the easiest egg laying fish in the hobby to breed lol.

I’ve seen beginners have issues breeding them but that’s mostly because their tanks are not well established. If you have a well established tank (like yours) they will reproduce like rabbits. If you’re getting over crowded you could try seeing if you local fish store will take them and either pay you for them or give you store credit!

Do you feed them live feed? Maybe that’s that. I’v use dry food the entire life of my Pygmy Cory and can never get them to spawn.
