I’ve been practicing but I haven’t tried it yet. I did the rizzuto finish. I was wondering what to do with the excess of braid. Maybe burn it?

I’m confused where the yellow braid came from. Do you have three lines in there?

It looks like you have to many wraps. my go to line to line is a Alberto knot but FG knot is good (very easy plenty of videos on both knots) Having that much line to line wrap is gonna make it hard to cast and have a lot of drag when casting. As far as that big ball of braid at the top that’s definitely gonna get caught on the eyes of the rod when you cast. Whatever knot you choose you don’t need to wrap the line either way more then 6-8 times. Good luck dude! (Alberto is way easier to tie then FG imo)

For the tag on my finish knot I tie an overhand knot as short as I can, cut it, then hit it with a lighter. Sometimes though when I’m in a hurry I just cut it and go and haven’t really had issues besides maybe a little hanging up in the guides.

I would downsize your leader diameter A LOT, or its going to be like casting a stick in the end of your braid… as well as, with a smaller leader, you won’t need nearly as many loops to secure it, and you could also secure it easier (IMO) with a double uni knot.
Ps. I will also say those wraps look very straight and uniform, well executed knot!

It looks like a Shitty Absolute Unit of a knot for sure.
