new to fishing so maybe im just dumb but is there an east way to fix this or a way at all?

It’s not broken, it just screws back on. It’s supposed to do that so you can swap the handed-ness.

Looks like it should just thread back in. Some unscrew like that for storage or travel.

Just spin it back onto the reel on the side you need. The cap it has to go don’t have it just seals the opposite side so it’s not the end of the world if you lost it but just be careful where you set it down
