I heard mod fast is the way to go for versatility so i settled with that. Anyone got any recommendations for widely available or underrated baits? I was looking at the Roma 7.5 but my friend told me they dont get much tail action when slow rolling which is how i get almsot all my swimbait bites on.

Also are the clone blanks from peekii good? I was planning on getting some clone Tiny Klashes to paint myself

  1. Truly amazing! While the rest of the world can practice multiple (most) techniques with a single rod/reel combo, the American marketing machine has successfully convinced its target population that they need a new setup for every single lure type.

  2. I’d have gone with the PENN Fathom 300… but that’s just my personal opinion. This is gonna be a great pairing!!

I just recently found a Spro BBZ shad in my dad’s old stuff he gave me last time I went to visit him. That thing is sweet, more of a straight retrieve type swimbait, but swims great and cuts hard when you pause it. I did have to downsize the hook.

    I *really*

Recommend Braid main with Mono leader
    Specially with bait casters.
Your casting distance will EXPONENTIALLY increase
20 mono (mono as in mono =one line, fluoro or nylon) has a BUNCH of memory and won’t be fun to untangle if you birdnest
