I bought these crappie jigs, but didn’t realize they were 1/16oz. Is there a way I could add weight and still use them? They look amazing, and I don’t want to waste a good product. Looks like it could catch any species and I’m for it.
I have a spinning rod and a BFS setup, but I have a hard time casting because it’s so light.
Thank yall!

Jigs can work well under a slip bobber and that would add extra weight for casting.
Honestly it’s up to you how you want to take that. Some people use it for inspiration and others use it to justify doing crazy things. Ultimately it’s up to you
First, look at your rod and see why action type it is, you’ll want light or ultralight to at least be mentioned. Second, your line needs to be relatively light. Since this is for crappie, I’d recommend nothing heavier than 6lb mono. Thinner line weighs less and a light rod can throw light tackle better. Lastly, I’d recommend a spinning reel because this won’t really work on any bait caster that I’m personally aware of.
Edit: your weight listings on your rod will be listed at the base of the rod in front of where your reel mounts
they may be light, but you can use a bobber, and the bobber will add more weight to your terminal tackle so you can cast the entire thing out there
a lot of people like fishing small jigs under the bobber for crappie
You have to pray to use these
The directions are right there: through Christ /s
Probably either a split shot 6 inches up or a casting bubble
On ultra light, in this order stopper, bead (this optional), slip bobber (i like the foam cigar time), lure. Set distance to about a foot to start. Throw it at brush piles, walls, and under the dock. Crappie!
Either use an ultralight spinning setup with 4-6lb line and jig it just off the bottom or put it under a bobber and reel 1/2 turn every few seconds to give it some movement
If Jesus is in there tickling the fish then you’re going to catch a ton I’m sure
Nah, no matter how much weight you add to those Christian jigs, they still just float on the water.
Seems like a cool company. Love the Bible verse.
Jesus take the reel
Float & fly can work.
