What are some reputable braid brands you guys prefer that the line doesn’t fade ? This is beyond braid one month after using it. It’s supposed to be purple 🤦🏽‍♂️

Daiwa j braid, suffix 832, sunline almight sinking braid, power pro (regular or v2) super slick.. probably all the top ones. I’ve heard good things about seaguar smackdown too

  2. Why do you care about faded colors on braid? You can always color the last 5 or so feet of the line with marker.

They all fade eventually. I rock the PowerPro Super8Slick in moonshine color on most my set ups. It fades eventually but still is a sort of neon white after while if that makes sense?

Suffix 832 for sure. I run Seaguar flouro and Suffix braid and I don’t think I have ever paid much more than half price for either

    Suffix 832 / j-braid / Varivas.

Be very careful with Varivas since they don’t lie about their line strength and 20 pound line is actually 20 pound rated instead of really being 30+ like other brands lol.

  6. Suffix 832 but I’ve used the Bass Pro XPS brand too. Both in green and they both fade, some.

Been using PLine zero fade for 6 months and so far it hasn’t faded , will see how it does through the hotter months

  8. Cortland braid is the best I’ve found for longevity and fading. Diawa j braid is good as well.

That all fade and some colors are more prone to fading. I like Daiwa J Braid, it’s smooth and high quality.

  10. Suffix 832.
    It’s never let me down

A good friend of mine is a professional guide. It’s all he uses. That’s good enough for me

God damn man I’ve never seen braid this faded lmao. Honestly I’ve never had xps yellow braid fade. I rarely use high vis though.
