I’m about done cycling my 20-gallon long (first tank), and I’d like some input on my stocking plan. I’m running a Marineland Penguin 350 so it'll be somewhat over-filtered.

Right now, plan is:

8 Kuhli loaches

1 Honey Gourami

12 Chili Rasboras

2 Nerite snails

4 Amano shrimp

starter colony of about 10 Cherry Shrimp

Does this seem like an okay bioload for a 20L, or am I pushing it? I do want to prioritize the Kuhlis, so I’m curious if I'd be able to even up their numbers a bit more, or if I should make cuts/changes elsewhere. Would love to hear your thoughts! :>

Kuhlis have a really loose bio-load. You could probably double the amount and be fine.

Looks absolutely okay. Don’t forget you shouldn’t introduce all fish at once, space the species out so the bacteria can keep up with the increase in bioload.

I don’t know much about gouramis, but I think they should be kept in pairs, right?
