hey everyone! this is my first time preparing to own a little betta!! i’ve been setting up and cycling my tank while i’ve been researching most ethical places to purchase a betta from (any recs are appreciated!) and cycling has been going great on the freshwater test kit! I have more plants (including red root floaters) and some more betta safe hides coming in as well! I made sure it was a gentle filter, water heater is in, and everything in the tank was betta safe and all edges were rounded/smoothed out to protect their fins as well! if you guys have any other recommendations on what to add/take away i’d absolutely appreciate it! thanks so much!!

very pretty! waters a bit cloudy tho and it might be due to bacterial bloom so cycle a bit more with some water changes before u put ur betta in. also i see u have some driftwood which is amazing and i also recommend some indian almond leaves as well to release more tannins in the water :3
Looks good, keep up the work!
I wish my first tank looked like this 🥲 you’ve clearly got a knack for the hobby!!!
Looks great although i dont like the marbles i think the wood adds a super nice look to the tank and is even more contrasted with plants. But the marbles just dont fit in, in my opinion, although its all prefrence.
Honestly, I think you’re really on the right track with everything!! Seems like you’ve covered your bases and clearly care a lot about your future fish 🙂 Your tank looks gorgeous!
