here is my 14 and a bit gallon (54 liter) aquarium for my betta, jackson. his roommates were only 5 shrimp, but since he never flares i also added a small school of amber tetra's. he always stares at them very curiously, but he has never been aggressive to them. ( the plastic plane in the tank was sanded very carefully to remove any sharp or rough edges)

Hi OP, good tank. Keep a close eye on the tetra, they will see the betta as a threat and if they decide to group together to drive him away, they won’t stop once started. They can be relentless bullies with food stealing, fin nipping and harassing, this behaviour often peaks overnight when they feel safest and the betta is sleeping.
Great tank! Is that a crypt? It’s huge!
