Hello everyone, I’m in the process of rescaping my tank, I made a cave for my beta and he absolutely loved it…it also hides the sponge filter from my viewing angle (last photo)…So far I’m very pleased with the condition of the after part of my tank, but I have no idea how to decorate/plant the fore ground, it has an inch of aquasoil and its purpose was for rooted plants but I never added any.

So I’d love to hear your suggestions on how to scape the foreground, have in mind that it’s a 45L tank with 14 Neon tetras, 4 Amano shrimp and 1 snail 🙂 been up and running for a year or so.

Personally I’d like to put a carpet plant down but I don’t have experience with them.

PS I hate the stock lid my tank came with and its tube light, if you are aware of any discrete and proper light for a 45L (10G) tank let me know ❤️
