The reel says shakespeare pro am EZ series s 23/35. Found similar reels online for sale, but was wondering if there's a catalog/manual, to see if there's anything special. (Like what the marketing gimmick was)
The rod is over 6ft long, and has no markings for weight/feel. The tips and reel holder are fuji. (Rod too?) I had trouble finding a spot with lighting and room to show these markings. Fuji on the eyes; Fuji quality product of Japan on the butt of the rod.
Overall cool find for $5. Any sources of information or suggestions for using appreciated!

This is comparable to the kind of low end entry level setup you can buy right now for $30 at Walmart. It’s not special or desirable but for 5 bucks if the reel works and none of the guides are cracked then thats tough to argue with.
The marketing gimmick is that you use it to try to catch fish. It’s an old fishing pole.
