I just started fishing this month and I caught this bass but it doesn’t look like the other largemouth I have been catching so I was wondering if someone could help identify for me. Thanks!

It’s a largemouth. It’s maxilla (upper jaw) extends past the orbit (eye).

Looks like a Largemouth to me. Back hinge of the jaw extends behind the eyeball. As far as I am aware, that rules everything else out.

This is without question a largemouth. If it looks different, my question would be, what species were the other fish you’ve caught? Because they weren’t largemouth.
