I’ve had a big community tank for a while but I’ve always wanted to keep a betta so I got a second smaller tank, right now, he’s still too small to eat the actual betta pellets and seems to enjoy the hikari micro pellets but I don’t know how much to feed him.

The tiniest pinch, I heard from others here the goal is to not have the food hit the bottom of the aquarium. Also equated that a bettas eye size is their stomach
A little pinch only morning and night and Schedule a 1 day fasting
I heard and 2-3 a day. I used to give my Bettas 2 twice a day but i think 2 to 3 a day is the amount if im not mistaken.
13 every feeding no more no less for immaculate growth and color
4 or 5. Soak first.
Kinda like smoking. Pack a day.
I give mine 3-5 of them once a day. It doesn’t feel like a lot but it’s a lot for them.
Their stomach is about as big as their eye, you can use your judgement from there. Just remember that these pellets will swell up in the water and in their stomach
Every fish is different so you don’t want to feed an arbitrary number of pellets per day. You need to regularly body condition score your fish and increase or decrease their feeding to maintain an ideal body score.

A good rule of thumb is to give enough food as the size of his eyes and them observe the signs as others mentioned. Just keep in mind they eat wayyy less than we think
I have a different kind of pellet but I feed mine 2 a day (she eats the algae and stuff I don’t fully clean out of her tank)
